Title of the talk:

Leveraging Breakthroughs in Academic and Computational Research in the Teaching-Learning Process of Physics

Abstract of the talk:

In this talk, I discuss my plans to augment the teaching and learning of Physics using several breakthroughs in academic and computational research. Learning physical concepts and solving problems can be greatly facilitated if teaching is supplemented by suitable study materials. Over the years, many excellent study materials have been developed and reported in academic journals like AJP/EJP. These could be used to prepare challenging Olympiad-level problems and to kindle students' interest through programs like NIUS, conducted by the HBCSE. In addition, I will outline my long-term plans to incorporate machine learning techniques to address crucial elements of the teaching-learning process. Finally, I will report my observations as a teacher and comment on how I plan to bring positive changes in the traditional physics teaching-learning process.
