Title:

Weaving Evidence-Based, Nuanced Communication with Interdisciplinary Collaboration

This seminar introduces adaptive frameworks grounded in complexity science to generate non-linear, positive transformations across interconnected social and environmental systems. The approach integrates evidence-based, nuanced communication with interdisciplinary and intercultural collaboration. Drawing on over a decade of research with Indigenous and academic communities in South America, I examine how these experiences refined a rigorously evidence-based methodology for addressing complex issues. These insights underpin The InterPlex—an open-access, evidence-driven platform fostering collaboration among scholars, policymakers, and the public. By promoting critical, integrative discourse, The InterPlex seeks to counter misinformation and strengthen global engagement with the dynamic processes of science and society.
