The fourth edition of Vigyan Vidushi (Physics), an advanced programme in Physics for M.Sc. first year women students, organized jointly by TIFR Colaba and HBCSE, will be held during 12 June to 1 July 2023 at HBCSE.
Forty students, selected from across the nation, will participate in this programme and will avail interactive sessions as well as experimental training. This year we will teach courses in Electrodynamics, Introduction to Astrophysics, Introduction to Nuclear and Particle Physics, Experimental Methods, and Thinking Through Problems. In addition, recordings of courses on several other topics offered in previous editions of Vigyan Vidushi will be made available to the participants. There will also be expository lectures on Physics Education Research, and informal interaction/mentoring sessions with women scientists in the evenings. Three special lectures, including the Bibha Chowdhuri Memorial Lecture, will be delivered by eminent women scientists.

There will be three special lectures by eminent women scientists during Vigyan Vidushi (Physics) 2023, to be held at HBCSE from 12 June to 1 July. Two of these will be at HBCSE (on 12 and 21 June), and one at TIFR, Colaba (on 28 June).
