At a time when propagating misleading information is so easy, drawing a boundary between science and pseudo-science is a pressing need. Science communicators play a key role in this effort by writing for myth-busting. Of course, science communicators do a lot more than myth-busting, like writing to keep the public informed on recent developments and keeping their curiosity alive. In my presentation, I will be discussing what I learned from a Science Journalism/Communication Workshop and how it is relevant for us as science educators. I will be sharing tips on writing popular science articles and overcoming the writer's block. I will be talking about a writing initiative which could benefit those involved in academic and popular science writing at our Centre.
