Donate to HBCSE

The mandate of HBCSE is to promote equity and excellence in science and mathematics education across the country at all levels. From initiatives in under-resourced tribal communities to mentorship programmes for women students at the Master’s level, there are a wide range of activities that the Centre is involved in. While we are primarily supported through grants from our parent institution (TIFR), several of our activities, especially targeting under represented sections of society, require financial support beyond what is available to us from the government.

We hence appreciate any assistance, from corporate CSR funds to small individual donations, that helps us in our endeavours. You can choose to donate to the general HBCSE endowment, or to specific programmes like the Anandi newsletter, Vigyan Vidushi, etc. or fund initiatives that build up and maintain laboratory facilities, classrooms, library, archives and overall infrastructure, or support student scholarships for example

Donations made to HBCSE by corporate bodies and individuals are 100% tax deductible under section 80GGA of the Indian Income Tax Act.
